Abel Switch Fly Reel

The perfect instrument for the Pacific Northwest steelheading or classic Atlantic Salmon. To meet the demand of steelhead, salmon and other big water anglers using Spey Techniques, we've come up with the definite tool: The Abel Spey Reel.
 
Featuring a fully enclosed frame and Abel's time-tested external pawl-click drag, the reel is styled in an "old school" fashion, reminiscent of classic European spey reels, but with a craftsmanship only possible in a made-in-the-USA version.
 
Finishes – All Abel Reels come in many available finishes. Standard is Black and Black Matte. Also available is many different solid color finishes, (see image for details), But the true enthusiasts will want one of the many fish graphics available. Fish Graphic reels are real pieces of art. Solid and Fish Graphics options are generally special order and built to order by Abel Reels so expect a little wait time for that one of a kind finish.
