Performance     
    The all-new Yamaha F250 is a marine inspired V6 powerhouse built upon a compact 60 degree 3.3-litre, (204 ci) block. The all-new air intake and fuel delivery system delivers instant easy starting, faster acceleration, and better top-end speed along with all of the qualities that consumers have come to expect from a four-stroke; clean, quiet, smooth, and economical!
Reliability / Durability     
    Years of building reliable and durable V6 outboards have given Yamaha the experience needed to engineer a 250 horsepower four-stroke outboard that is well equipped to handle the rigors of large boat applications and usage. In addition to numerous engine components developed for the 250 horsepower category of outboard power, the new F250 is built with Yamaha's Ultimate Corrosion Protection system to ward off the harsh saltwater environment. All of these features are designed to increase reliability/durability standards and protect the customer’s investment for years to come!
Command Centre     
    The entire system on the new F250 is controlled by the Engine Control Module. The engine control module electronically controls the single throttle valve for precise fuel/air mixture to each individual combustion chamber at any load or speed, maximizing engine performance in all running conditions. Additionally, the ECM manages the entire engine protection system for long-term engine reliability and durability!
